This website is operated by Moffitts of Sligo (“Moffitts”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions apply when you visit our website, use our services or purchase products from us.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to offer our products and services online.
2. Products & Availability
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, photographs, colours, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen or device.
All products are subject to availability. As Moffitts also operates a physical retail store, stock availability online and in store may occasionally differ. If an item you order is unavailable, we will contact you as soon as possible and arrange an appropriate solution or refund where applicable.
We reserve the right to update product information, prices and availability where necessary.
3. Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.
An order is not considered accepted until payment has been successfully processed and we have confirmed your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where an item is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing or product-information error, payment cannot be authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the relevant amount will be refunded.
4. Prices & Payment
Prices displayed on our website are in euro (€) unless otherwise stated.
We make every effort to ensure prices are correct. If we discover an obvious pricing error after an order has been placed, we may contact you before fulfilling the order.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.
Promotions, discounts and sale prices may be changed or withdrawn in accordance with applicable law and any specific promotional terms.
5. Delivery
Delivery times shown on our website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
We aim to dispatch and deliver orders promptly, but delays can occasionally occur due to postal or courier services, adverse weather, customs or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Returns, refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy and applicable Irish and EU consumer law.
Where a statutory right of cancellation applies to an online purchase, customers may exercise that right within the applicable legal period, subject to any lawful exceptions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights.
7. Gift Vouchers
Moffitts gift vouchers are available as physical vouchers and are subject to the terms stated on the voucher or provided at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
8. Intellectual Property
The Moffitts name, branding and original website content belonging to Moffitts may not be reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without permission.
Product names, brand names, trademarks and other intellectual property belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

Our website may contain links to, or use services provided by, third parties. We are not responsible for the content or practices of independent third-party websites.
Where you choose to use a third-party service or website, its own terms and privacy practices may apply.
10. Shopify
Moffitts is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our online store and related services. However, purchases made from our store are transactions directly between you and Moffitts.
Shopify provides the ecommerce technology used to operate the online store but is not the seller of the products purchased from Moffitts.
11. Privacy
Personal information collected through our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
As our online store is hosted by Shopify, certain personal information may also be processed by Shopify and other service providers where necessary to operate the website, process orders and provide our services.
12. Errors & Inaccuracies
Occasionally, information on our website may contain an error or omission relating to a product description, price, promotion, availability or other information.
We reserve the right to correct genuine errors and update information where necessary, subject to applicable consumer law.
